We planted hard wearing, slow growing creeping grasses. We try to keep the grass short in order to make it easier to pick up after you dog, and to reduce the likelihood of seeds or insects affecting your dogs. But at certain times of the year we will leave patches uncut to enable to clover and butter cups to flower.

Around the perimeter there is a 1.8m high fence this allows you to relax, whilst your dog runs free.

We are located in pleasant rural location in the village of Whixall close to the Welsh border.

My name is Lindsey and I have been around dogs and other animals all of my life. The picture opposite shows me with our four labs, sadly none of them are with us anymore, so in tribute we have named the features within the field after them.

My love for all dogs has inspired me to take a career change. I am currently part way through training to become a qualified Canine Hydro Therapist.
